And there is increased mortality. decreased visibility from intense leaf burning which increases the potential for auto accidents and death. some of the costs related to out of control fires are personal injuries, property damage and cost for the fire department. And most of the injuries to children. The smoke from burning leaves affects more than just the yard or neighborhood where there burning the leaves.also there is damage to the streets with the pile of leaves. And those people who have respiratory problems have decreased mobility and cannot enjoy the fall season.
